Overview

To access the screen you must click on the ‘Statistics’ tab under Bonuses.

Statistics you can view here include:

• Getting bonus (%) - The percentage of participants eligible to receive a bonus.
• Median bonus - The median value of all bonuses awarded.
• Total bonus - The total value of bonuses achieved.
• Median Bonus / OTE (%) - The ratio of the median awarded bonus to OTE
• Above-Target (%) - The percentage of participants with bonuses above their OTE
• Max vs OTE - The ratio between the highest individual bonus and the OTE value.
• Variation coeff. - it is a measure of performance variability and it is calculated as: standard deviation (Bonus/OTE) / average (Bonus/OTE)
• Bonus vs budget (%) - The ratio of the total bonus relative to the allocated budget.

Bonus vs OTE Distribution

The OTE is the bonus value a Rep should achieve if they meet their targets on all KPIs. Bonus / OTE shows their relative performance vs. 100%. OTE may be different from Rep to Rep; that is why comparing Bonus / OTE is more relevant.

This bar chart shows how the performance is distributed in your team. The size of the bar represents how many Reps fit in that interval.

If the variability is high, it means there is room to improve the performance management of your team.

OTE which stands for On Target Earnings and represents the sum of money the individual should receive as a bonus if they achieve 100% of their targets on all KPIs.
