Key Performance Indicators (KPIs for short) are measurable values that demonstrate how effectively an organization is achieving its key business objectives. They serve as navigational tools that help businesses track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.

Types of KPIs

CEX Incentives supports two types of KPIs:

Predefined KPIs

These are standard performance indicators like Sales vs. Target or Double Delta Market Share that are already set up in the system, and their data can be automatically added. You can’t manually input values for these indicators.

It’s important to know that data for these predefined indicators can only be added automatically to the system if specific integrations have been set up.

An important KPI is OTE which stands for On Target Earnings and represents the sum of money the individual should receive as a bonus if they achieve 100% of their targets on all KPIs. Within a team, the value of OTE can be:

Custom KPIs

Certain users have the ability to create new types of performance indicators known as Custom KPIs. For Custom KPIs, you can manually input values through the user interface for each Sales Representative, or you can upload them in bulk using files.
